We are pleased to announce that the 15th Biennial Conference of the IAWJ, postponed due to the global impact of COVID-19, will now take place from May 7-10, 2021 at the same venue: the Cordis Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand. We chose these dates because we hope the COVID-19 situation will stabilize within the next year. May is also the traditional time for IAWJ biennial conferences.
Given the uncertainties regarding COVID-19, we decided it was prudent, however, to set back-up dates of September 10-13, 2021 in case it is not safe to hold the conference in May 2021. We will make sure you have plenty of notice if we are forced to move to the back-up dates.
We hope you will be able to join us in Auckland on the new dates. Please also encourage as many of your colleagues to attend as possible so that the 15th IAWJ Biennial Conference will be the sparkling gathering we traditionally plan for with great enthusiasm.
Please stay tuned for more information regarding the rescheduled conference, including the registration fees and the date that registration will open.
If you are already registered for the conference, you should have received an email setting out the various options with regard to registration. If you have not received this, please email iawj2020auckland@theconferencecompany.com.
We hope that you and your loved ones are and remain safe and well.
Vanessa Ruiz, IAWJ President
Susan Glazebrook, IAWJ President-Elect
Mary O’Dwyer, NZAWJ President
Shawna Wilson, IAWJ Executive Director
