Member Opportunity: Institutional Mentoring Expert Needed

Opportunity: Developing Mentoring for Women Magistrates

The Côte d’Ivoire ProJustice program is a cooperative agreement funded by the USAID/West Africa/Regional Peace and Governance Office. It is a 5-year judicial reform program, whose two main objectives are to (i) improve and modernize administration of justice and case management through innovative tools implemented in 11 pilot courts, and (ii) increase access to justice for vulnerable people, and for people with disabilities. The Association of Women Magistrates (AWM) of Côte d’Ivoire was officially founded in April 2016 with the active support of ProJustice, and on April 24, 2016, the first General Assembly of the new association was held in Bouaké.

The AWM will host its next annual General Assembly on December 2, 2017 in the afternoon. The same day in the morning, ProJustice will organize a seminar on institutional mentoring.

In support of the General Assembly, ProJustice is recruiting one international short term technical expert in institutional mentoring. The expert will assist in preparing the seminar and will serve as a resource during the seminar. The expert will work under the supervision of and report to the Chief of Party (COP) and Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP).
