I am Chrisholm Davin Noble, a South African citizen, currently residing and working in Johannesburg. I hail from the South African coastal town George, in the Western Cape.
I have completed my high school career at Sao Bras High School in Mossel Bay. I graduated with an LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape and also obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Municipal Financial Management, from the University of Stellenbosch, Business School.
I successfully completed my Candidate Attorney Clerkship and I was admitted as an Attorney in the Republic of South Africa, in 2010. I have 16 years’ experience in the legal field of which I have practised as a Candidate Attorney, Attorney, Public Prosecutor, Municipal Prosecutor and Legal Advisor. The highlight of my career was, being employed as a Municipal Prosecutor and Legal Advisor, where I was privileged to be a part of the opening of the first two Municipal Courts outside the borders of the City of Cape Town, namely Mossel Bay and Hermanus, respectively.
I am a mentor and a member of the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges since 2020 and also serving as Provincial Co-Ordinator in Gauteng.
I am currently employed by The Judiciary of South Africa as a District Court Magistrate at Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court, in Johannesburg, since February 2020. My dreams and aspirations is to become a Judge in the Republic of South and possibly working my way to the International Court of Justice and or the International Criminal Court.
Working as a Magistrate, I am exposed to all facets of the law, which I am passionate about, and I endeavour to dispense justice without fear, favour and prejudice, in line with my Constitutional Mandate.
