Partnership with the Judicial Integrity Network ASEAN (JIN ASEAN)

The Judicial Integrity Network ASEAN (JIN ASEAN) and the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) are partnering to raise awareness of critical issues of gender equality and to support judges in the Asia Pacific region through peer education. In the fall of 2022, the two networks will work together to hold an online event, open to judges in the region and to identify judicial champions as JIN ASEAN launches its Gender Working Group.

This partnership will bridge IAWJ’s global leadership on gender issues with JIN ASEAN’s regional approach to building the capacity of judges through peer-to-peer connections. The two organizations are committed to gender equality as a critical component of an independent judiciary able to protect rights and the rule of law.
